Routine maintenance completed. Also had a headlamp bulb replaced; they found 2 more that were out - fixed at no labor charge, thanks! We reviewed some more significant maintenance that needs to be done and decided to tackle it next time around (no pressure tactics on that). I like that these guys are up on using technology to better run their business - makes me feel good about the management.

Autotron is the best service and repair garage that I have ever used!I moved to Southern California a few years ago and I still plan trips to the Bay Area when my Toyota Truck needs service so Autotron can work on it. They are the best! Honest, affordable car repair.

As usual the service was outstanding. It was a last minute service and they accommodated my schedule. Got me on the road out of town right on time.

I had a great experience at Autotron. My husband needed to get a smog test for his Nissan. We took it to a smog shop and since the engine service soon light was on he said we needed to see what that was all about before we had the smog othewise it won't pass. So we took it to Autotron and it turned out the problem was the catalyic converter and it was still under warranty. Ryan asked if I needed that car over the weekend and since we have two cars I said fine. Friday he said what the problem was and told me they would take it to Nissan free of charge and have them replace the cat. I finally got my car back on Tuesday after they had it since Friday. I had no idea where my car was whether it was at Nissan or at Autotron. Which leads me to my only problem and that all Friday I was waiting to pick up the car so I called them to find out what was going on. If I hadn't called at 4:30 because they close at 5:00 or 5:30 they might not have called me. That is when I found out it was at Nissan because of the warranty they had to do the work. Anyway, price wise I don't really know. Monday came and I had to call again and ask if Nissan was done with it. She said that Nissan still had the car and it was work in progress and they will call when it is ready. They did call Tuesday morning and they were nice enough to get it from Nissan and pick me up at home so I could go get it.

I first took my Toyota with over 100,000 miles on it to Autotron for a major service, including timing belt replacement, water pump, seals/gaskets, spark plugs, etc. It wasn't cheap, but it was a big job and very labor intensive. I figure I'll now be able to get several more years out of this vehicle. The service was done right and completed on-time. I had also been experiencing a very intermittent problem where the car would run rough, stall, and then not start again for several minutes. At one point, I had taken the car into the Toyota dealership for this, but there were no 'codes' and the mechanic could not diagnose the issue. While driving into work recently, the problem surfaced again and I happened to be near Autotron. I pulled right up to the service bay and flagged down the owner, Ryan. He came over and reprioritized work so they could look at the car while the problem was happening. They were able to diagnose the problem as a faulty EGR value. It was replaced that same day and I haven't had any problems since. I would definitely recommend Ryan and his team at Autotron as a great alternative to going to a car dealership. Very courteous staff (including Ryan's wife, Jennifer, running the office and shuttle vehicle), knowledgeable mechanics, and outstanding customer service! I'm definitely a repeat client!
